Each year, Trelawny’s Army Supporters Club shows its support for Cornish rugby by awarding equipment to a selection of Cornish clubs.
TASC committee members Ian Gordon (Hon.Sec) and Bill Hooper (Press Officer) were present at the Memorial Ground, Penryn, on Saturday 16th November for the Tribute Cornwall 1 match between Camborne School of Mines and Bodmin, in order to present match balls to both the clubs that won promotion last season from Tribute Cornwall 2.

Phil Trevarton (TASC Chairman) and Marina Trevarton (TASC Merchandise Secretary) were present at Tregorrick Park, St Austell, on Saturday 7th December for the South West 1 West match between St Austell and Coney Hill, in order to present match balls to St Austell, who won promotion last season from Tribute Western Counties West.

John Prowse (TASC Webmaster) was present at St Ives RFC on Saturday 14th December for the Tribute Western Counties West match between St Ives and Burnham-on-Sea, in order to present match balls to St Ives, who won promotion last season from the Cornwall & Devon league.

TASC Vice-Chairman David Broadhurst was at Veor’s recent home match against Hayle to present the Wheal Gerry club with a couple of match balls in recognition of their promotion to the Tribute Cornwall & Devon League this season.

TASC were pleased to be able to present the Camborne Under 14 squad with £100 towards the cost of their upcoming tour.

On Sunday 4th May, the Cornish Rebels Rugby League team held a charity 9s tournament at Redruth RFC, in order to raise money for the Steve Prescott Foundation. And Dave Broadhurst, Vice-Chairman of Trelawny’s Army Supporters’ club, was on hand to present the club with match balls, in recognition of their successful season last year, when they finished top of the South West Premier Division.
