My name is Buster and I am a Trelawny's Army Bear. In March my owners took me on holiday to Salisbury. It was very cold and it was snowing when we got to a very special monument nearby called Stonehenge. My paws got really cold, but it was very interesting. |
Stonehenge is one of the most famous sites in the World; it is the remains of a ring of standing stones on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire. Archaeologists, special scientists who study how people lived a long time ago, believe it was built from 4000 to 5000 years ago. Special stones called 'bluestones' were dragged all the way from Wales. That must have been really hard work, because they didn't have tractors and diggers back then, just ropes and wooden rollers to do all the work. |

Salisbury is a very pretty city and has a huge church called a Cathedral. Inside the Cathedral there are long stone corridors and it reminded me of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You could almost believe that Harry Potter could suddenly come round the corner with Hermione and Ron. |

My name is Perry and I am a Trelawny's Army Perran Bear. In June my owners took me on holiday to Italy to see their aunty. I flew on an aeroplane for the first time, it was very exciting. |
In the garden I saw little lizards running around, they were very fast. |

I also had a trip into the mountains which were very high and I met some cows. They only live in the mountains in the summer because the snow is 3 metres deep in the winter. |
One hot and sunny day I went to Venice to see the Gondolas. |

They are funny long thin boats that people ride on in the canals. |
Venice is a strange city, instead of roads everywhere there are canals full of water and lots and lots of people visit there because it is so pretty. |

My owners took me on a train ride to the top of Mount Snowdon, 1085 metres high; you could see for miles and miles. The little train chuffed and chuffed to get to the top. |
